RecruitME Celebrate 2nd Birthday

RecruitME was founded as a start-up in 2015 by friends and veterans, Chris Buck (front middle) and Howard Rudder (front left). In the 2 years they have been in business, they have gone from strength to strength and now employ 7 people in their Grantham offices, working with companies across the UK on Ex Forces and multi sector recruitment.

They have recently relocated into larger offices and having just celebrated their 2 year anniversary, are showing off their new faces as they continue to expand their growing team of recruiters.

Chris & Howard said, “We are delighted to have 5 more staff on board. Having invested heavily in new real estate, IT equipment and systems at the end of 2016, it was always part of our strategy to increase headcount.

We have built an incredible team who have recruited for a variety of fantastic clients repeatedly throughout UK wide. We have had many great milestones and achievements in our first 2 years that we hadn’t anticipated.  These have included receiving a New Business of the Year Award and the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme Silver Award, sponsoring a local football team, taking on 5 staff and moving into a really smart suite of offices. 

We have also felt the pressures of starting a new business and building a presence in a highly competitive industry.  However, through perseverance, determination, team work, brand awareness, building business relationships and consistent and continuous marketing, we have been able to get to where we are neither of us expected to be working with some of the UK’s leading companies and global brands but we are both extremely proud that with our team we’ve achieved this.”

X-Forces supported RecruitMe to access the seed capital and to launch the brand in 2015. Before embarking on their business journey, Chris had served in the Royal Logistics Corps and Howard as a Royal Navy Seaman Officer, where they had both experienced several tours each around the world including Iraq, Cyprus, Belize and the Falklands.

When they transitioned to settled down with family and get to grips with ‘civvy street’ XF supported them to explore their business idea, and kick start the business they are successfully growing today!
