X-Forces Enterprise (XFE) Founder and CEO, Ren Kapur MBE, sums up this ethos:
“Our job is to find the right corporate partners to fuel economic growth by enterprise, while improving social mobility and supporting career journeys. This richness of community is the magic of XFE.”
In this spirit, we are delighted to be welcoming a new cohort of entrepreneurs to a fantastic, face-to-face programme created in concert with one of our longstanding corporate partners, Rolls-Royce plc. We are so pleased to be working with them once again.
On 26th September, we will be at the outstanding Rolls-Royce facility just outside Bristol for an incisive, in-person workshop, dedicated to designing and executing dynamic, effective Digital Marketing Strategies for small businesses.
Training segments will be delivered by Royal Navy veteran Amy Rawcliffe, owner of Click Marketing. Additionally, Ren Kapur MBE will host a ‘lunch and learn’ session for Rolls-Royce staff.
This unique experience will be completed by a tour of the facility and the opportunity to network with fellow attendees. Learn more and book your place here https://tinyurl.com/bcm-rolls
Collaboration is King
In further partnership news, we’re thrilled to bring to your attention a fascinating new podcast episode in the ‘Do What You Can’ Insight Series.
In the pod, Claire Kennedy of PPL asks Ren Kapur MBE some killer questions, including ‘what can we do to build strong, sustainable communities?’ Spoiler Alert: the answer has a lot to do with collaboration and partnerships!
Strategy and Partnership
Our longstanding partnership with the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) was further strengthened recently by the appointment of Ren Kapur MBE as FSB’s Strategic Programmes Director. We have achieved so much together – lobbying successfully for policies to improve Iives in both the military and small business communities – and this new appointment can only make our collaboration more impactful moving forward.
The votes just kept on coming!
Voting for the 2024 Soldiering On Awards Animal Partnership and Inspiration categories closed at on Monday 26th August. The public voted in their thousands – doubling the numbers from last year – which is testament to the remarkable achievements of our stellar Finalists.
These are the overarching Awards for the Armed Forces community which, through the power of storytelling, bring together members of the wider military family in the common cause of celebration. This, however, would not be possible without our wonderful corporate partners. From Pets at Home and NatWest – supporters of the Animal Partnership and Inspiration Awards respectively – to our partners for the other ten categories as well as the finalé itself – we thank them all.
