Julie set up Present Purrfections in 2014 in a shop near her home in Fife.

The aim was to create the ideal place to find the Purrfect Gift for the cat or dog Lover in your life, and she has done exactly that, Present Purrfections has been shortlisted for Best Fife Newcomer at the Scottish Business Awards!

Empowered by her business Julie says the favourite part about having her own business is: “The control I have over everything. Although it is a lot of responsibility I have complete control over everything.”

So what’s next for Julie and Mark? The couple have an online store and hope to increase sales thanks to this new resource. In the long run they’d like to expand and either move to a larger premises or open a second store!
