X-Forces Receives Gold Award from HRH Prince Harry and the Secretary of State for Defence!

Tonight X-Forces are honoured to receive the Employer Recognition Scheme Gold Award from HRH Prince Harry and Secretary of State for Defence, Sir Michael Fallon for our outstanding support of the Armed Forces community.

“We are truly honoured to have received this Award, and proud to support this incredible community in everything we do.

It is especially poignant to receive the Award this evening from HRH Prince Harry, who through his own experiences knows that the adjustment to the civilian world needs bespoke support. Sir Michael Fallon, the Secretary of State for Defence, has supported X-Forces since inception. Through his role as Minister of State for the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills in 2013 he was there at the start. He has come full circle with us.” Ren Kapur MBE, Founder and CEO of X-Forces.

The Gold Award is the highest-level of Employer Recognition within the Scheme and recognises organisations that demonstrate support for the Armed Forces community, both inside and outside of their normal business activities.

X-Forces strives to give life-changing support to our beneficiaries. We also ensure that our organisation is open to ex-military personnel, military spouses and reservists. Our CEO, Ren Kapur MBE is a Reservist herself and actively encourages the X-Forces team to engage with the community outside their normal roles.

“X-Forces staff are formally given two days paid pro-bono days per year dedicated to the Armed Forces community in addition to any reservist training time they need. Our Big Business supporting Small Business campaign has championed changes to the Armed Forces Covenant guidelines, encouraging organisations to embrace the talents of military owned businesses in their own supply chain. These are great examples of what we can do through our own policies to provide resources that bring about positive change in the community” Martin Wing, X-Forces Chief Operating Officer and Chairman of the Board.
