X-Forces Enterprise Co-CEOs Ren Kapur MBE and Martin Wing were delighted to join the Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak, and Minister for Veterans’ Affairs, Johnny Mercer, at the RAF Museum for the launch of OP PROSPER – a wraparound employment service to support veterans into work after they leave the Armed Forces.
OP PROSPER will be backed by £2.1 million in new funding to support veterans in securing high paid jobs, where they can hone the skills that they developed in the military in key sectors that are helping to boost the economy. This includes areas like cyber and digital, manufacturing, energy and financial and professional services.
When the select group of invitees were several XFE Ambassadors and beneficiaries, plus Soldiering On Awards past winners and judges.
CEO and founder of X-Forces Enterprise, Ren Kapur MBE, described her experience of the event:
“At the crack of dawn, we journeyed eagerly to the RAF Museum on an invitation to witness a significant announcement by the Prime Minister and Minister for Veterans’ Affairs. Worth it in every respect, we witnessed their clear unity of purpose to ensuring every veteran finds not just a job, but a great career that maximises their skills. It was particularly heartening to hear self-employment highlighted in the discussion, resonating with our mission, whether in traditional employment or contracting roles. Departing from the event, I felt invigorated and reassured by the alignment of our nation’s leaders with our collective vision, and at XFE, we fully welcome the rollout of Op Prosper and the government’s investment in this community.”
