Our specialist programmes
X-Forces Enterprise (XFE) delivers high-quality programmes tailored to the needs of every cohort. XFE’s specialist initiatives empower individuals and communities to create fulfilling futures through entrepreneurship, training, and collaboration.
Veterans, Reservists and Family Members
X-Forces Enterprise has a core suite of training programmes that have been developed to support business owners at pre-start, launch and growth phases.
These core programmes are delivered on a regular rotation, via online video platform for accessibility. Armed Forces veterans, reservists, and their family members are eligible to access fully-funded workshops.
Armed Forces Service Leavers
Appointed Business Enterprise Trainer for the Ministry of Defence Career Transition Partnership, X-Forces Enterprise delivers bespoke workshops on Self-Employment Awareness and Enterprise Skills to service leavers in transition. These workshops are accessible to personnel via the CTP interface, and delivered at military bases around the UK.
Wounded, Injured and Sick Veterans
XFE’s successful programme for Wounded, Injured, and Sick veterans – delivered by the Soldiering On Academy – provides a supportive space to explore employment options, including self-employment, portfolio careers, or further learning. Designed for veterans with mental or physical health challenges, this residential course fosters self-awareness, confidence, and clarity in a peer-supported, positive environment.
Military Spouses / Partners
XFE supports military spouses and partners to explore self-employment and develop skills in exclusive, like-minded groups. This tailored approach boosts understanding, confidence, and independence, with virtual courses ensuring access for all.

Cadets and Young People
The Cadets in Enterprise programme enables young people to explore the key components of how the economy is made up, what enterprise means and how entrepreneurship shapes our lives. The interactive workshops have been delivered in conjunction with the Cadet Forces since 2019 and student have enjoyed graduation ceremonies at the London Stock Exchange.

Career Transition
XFE’s Career Compass programme equips participants with essential skills and knowledge for transitioning from uniform to civilian employment or returning after a career break. The course explores how the private, public, and third sectors work together and empowers individuals to make informed career choices about their futures.
Emergency Services
X-Emergency Services draws on the XFE proven business model to provide tailored support and resources to support those transitioning from careers in the Emergency Services, built on access to relevant knowledge and information, examples of lived experiences, collaboration, training, and peer to peer support.
Recognition and Celebration
Organised by X-Forces Enterprise, the Soldiering On Awards programme recognises outstanding achievement in the Armed Forces community; a year-long celebration culminating in a spectacular Awards Night.
Bringing together the MOD, military charities, and corporate partners, the Awards unite the community and highlight the invaluable contributions of the military family to society.
