Valentine’s Blog: Partners in Business!

X-Forces has supported several couples to launch their business ventures together! Hear why they love working together!

Tree, Two, One – Cornwall

My Husband & I joined forces not long after our Tree Surgery business ‘Tree Two One’ took off. Due to a healthy influx of Clients I was able to stop my full time employment and become partners of the business. I drew up a business plan for our Cherry Picker Hire service, ‘Tree Two One Lift Off’. Due to the help & support of X-Forces my plan was successful. Our Cherry Picker is very useful for both domestic use and tree works.

Tree Works

Now we have another addition to the business called ‘Tree Two One Design’. The idea is that I use my creative skills alongside Ant & we create hand painted wood (Art) from the trees he cuts.  We also do furniture revival & wall Murals/interior designs. This is an exciting journey for us as a couple. As they say ‘Two heads are better than One.’ This definitely runs true for us. If you ever have that dream to become someone who enjoys their work, you can make that dream a reality with a little help from X-Forces

Katie and Anthony are based in Cornwall and offer Tree Surgery and design’s created from off-cuts and wood is made available.

Regular Jo’s – Tynemouth

There are definitely two sides of working closely together with your partner… On one hand, it’s a great thing to be able to spend every day, hour and minute with each other. On the other hand, you have to spend every day, hour and minute with each other!

In all seriousness though, it’s brilliant to be able to share all of your successes and work through all of your problems (in business) together as well. You do spend a lot of your time talking about the business, however if you’re both passionate about it this isn’t necessarily a bad thing, and can often be very exciting!

We wouldn’t have it any other way!”

Jonny and Jo started their Mobile Café business in the North East whilst Jonny was still serving hundreds of miles further south! Now he has joined Jo full time to help serve fresh seasonal coffee from their unique custom trailer!
